and then other bonus coupon items were selling out too. Joyce also noticed that customers
were picking up other items as well. She is very happy with the sale.

Greg stated that his May sale started on the first and all his bonus items were gone within
a couple of days. He has customers inquiring about his store running a sale like this again. His
only problem was not ordering enough , because he didn't anticipate such a great
response. He was very happy and impressed with this sale.

Kathy says May was a great sale! She was out of ketchup the first day. Customers were coming
in saying "Y'all have a great sale!" They couldn't believe the prices. Kathy thought 4
cases of ketchup would be enough. Her only worry now is about having the right quantities

going great. They were up 10% for November. When they broke the
December ad on Wednesday, they were going non stop all day, and on
Thursday too! The 3 girls up front in his store did not even get to take a break!

circulars because he has sold out of most of his product already! He was
very happy stating. "This has been one of our best years ever." He also

Shelia called to say how awesome her December coupon book sale is going.
Since Friday, when the coupon books went out, she sold $5,650 worth of
her Promotions merchandise and that does not include today's totals! Wow!
Her total order was $9,600! The Hot Wheels are gone, the scooters are gone,
and everything Harry Potter is gone! She only has two Tickle Me Elmo's
left! The card paper everything is selling like crazy! Great News!

They ran their first coupon book sale for Christmas and are very happy
with the turnout in the store. They totally underestimated the amount of
merchandise that they needed. They're looking forward to doing more
coupon book advertising with Promotions in the future.

this area has taken off so well in a Hardware store. They are so glad they
took the time to come to Promotions. They will be in January 17-19 to meet
the fabric vendors and do their Fall/Christmas 2002 import buying.

Rick says he's unhappy about the fact he has an order placed with American
Greeting Cards for Christmas cards and calendars; and now he sees ours are
12 1/2% cheaper. He says that's a big difference, especially when you look
at the quantity he orders! He added that this is not the first time Promotions
Unlimited is cheaper than buying direct. He has vowed not to skip over any
item he buys direct from now on unless he checks our prices too.

they noticed 2 new ladies in the store with the coupon book in hand. They

Talking to Stores' section. He read the idea about having a kid's shopping

Customers are buying everything like crazy. She ordered case of 48 rawhide dog bones,
and thought it was way too many when she ordered it. They're almost gone. Pat is truly amazed.

sent it out direct mail for April. Jim Furrey, one of our outside sales
representatives, has been assisting him in ordering for the Back to
School Sale. When he went back to get the August Order, all of the April
Easter merchandise was already sold out. Great news.

month, and she would sell out. She also said would like to see more food
in the ad. She especially likes the microwave meals (beef stew and
lasagna) that don't need refrigeration. Her older clientele love these
and order it to be delivered with their prescriptions.

truck driver, David Copeland, who delivered his May sale. This was
Bill's first order and he was excited to see David again for his June
delivery. He was so pleased with his attitude and all of his help. He
said the entire delivery only took an hour and it went very smooth.

She also says the personal organizer she had complained about having to

Seminar, "This has been a great educational program. I will be
placing my August order on the Internet. The airfares, rooms, meals, and
positive helping attitudes of your employees has been great. But this
new computer Internet ordering system is one of the greatest gifts that
the Greenberg and Promotions Unlimited family has ever given to the
Independent retailers. I am so excited about the ideas that I took home
with me. This was my 4th trip to Promotions Unlimited, and I always go
home ready to put fresh, exciting ideas to work.

Promotions selection and quality matched up, but the cost to stores was
much , much less than Wang's. She thought about taking presale signs

customers in the store with the ad in hand. That's a lot for a little

The girl who worked during the first day of the sale had been
with them about 2 years and she said she has never seen it that busy.
They have just a few shopping carts at the store that they use in
their back room or once in a great while when someone asks for a cart.
The first two days of the sale, all the shopping carts were in
use. Employees were

It used to take me several days of prep, then I would fax the
order. I will be truthful - I was getting bogged
down and did not look forward to your order each time I did it for both

the video and feel that Promotions Unlimited is moving forward quickly
